Underlying concepts of the Orixa Framework
This section of Help-documentation is more technical.
Orixa does not use any particularly innovative or unusal concepts. If you have worked with relational databases or graph (node) databases much of what you are about to read will be very familiar.
Readers of this section should already have a good understanding of:
- The System Entities screen
- The Grid View
- The Edit Form
- How to run and show database reports and dashboards.
Ideally readers will have got this experience from using an Orixa App, or from running and using an Orixa Example App downloaded from us.
If you are not clear about these basic aspects of Orixa please refer to the User Guide sections of the Help where these issues are covered in depth, and / or install an Orixa App to play with.
The Administrator Guide section of the help will cover more detailed, technical aspects of the operation of Orixa including:
- How the meta-data system data-tables that control your system are structured.
- How to edit and change BusinessObjects, View-Grids, Grid-searches, Reports and Dashboards in order to change the way your App works.
- How you can add and edit System Procedures in your App, which can be used by users to do work in your App.
- How to manage back-end database actions that may be needed by your system.
- An introduction to editing the database SQL scripts which control your system
